About
I was born in Athens in 1978. While an undergraduate student, I was also working in the informatics industry for several years, specializing in the domain of Medical Informatics. I graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications in 2005, having focused my research interests in the domain of AI.
Then I joined the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering at the University of Aegean, where I completed my PhD on Automatic Summarization. My research is conducted within the Software and Knowledge Engineering Laboratory of NCSR Demokritos, in collaboration with the University of Aegean.
After working for a year as a Fellow Researcher for the DISI, University of Trento, and the OKKAM project, I have returned back to Greece. I am now working for NCSR Demokritos as a fellow researcher.
I am a member of the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society and the European Chapter of the ACL (EACL).
